This gooey caramel filled chocolate lava cake (“moelleux au chocolat”) delight was first seen on episode two of Rachel Khoo’s Little Paris Kitchen back in 2012. It’s chocolate sponge with a salted caramel filling. The Little Paris Kitchen series ran for 6 episodes in 2012 with Rachel Khoo introducing the audience to “French food cooked simply, like Parisians do at home”.
Moelleux au chocolat
- 170g dark chocolate, finely chopped
- 170g butter, cubed
- 170g light brown sugar
- 85g plain flour
- 6 eggs, beaten
